My Future Children

I've been working out the names for ages and I've finally got it. I have decided the names now. And I'm going to tell you all the names and their meanings.

The blanks represent my last name which I will not divulge here. (I'm going to keep it when I'm married since it's a clan name and Will hates his family)

Ruby-Rose Krystal Jay _______

Jasper Alan Rory _______

Pearl-Rose Grace Belle _______

The first names are keeping with the family tradition of having gem/stone/rock names. The females get the Rose attached, not the males. (My mother is Krystal-Rose, I am Sapphire-Rose) The colour of the gem attached to the Rose has a special meaning. (eg. Sapphire-Rose = blue rose, meaning peace, Krystal-Rose = clear rose = Divinty)

My eldest will be Ruby-Rose which is red rose which means love.

I'd have to check but I don't think there's a meaning for Pearl-Rose.

There are two middles names for each. The first middle name is after a family member I wish to honor. Krystal my mother for my eldest child. Alan my grandfather for my middle child. And Grace my sister for my youngest.

The second middle name pays tribute to fictional characters I adore. Ruby gets Jay which is the middle name of Homer Simpson, my favourite cartoon character and my father figure growing up. My son get's Rory after Rory Pond, my favourite Doctor Who companion. And Pearl get's Belle after Belle from Beauty and the Beast, my favourite Disney princess.
